2008

A design-led beginning

The studio began with a focused idea: decorative lighting should create atmosphere without disconnecting from the task, installation and maintenance realities of professional interiors.

2014

Photometric context becomes central

As project work expanded, selection conversations included beam angle, luminous flux, correlated color temperature and color rendering index alongside form and finish.

2020

Controls enter the brief earlier

Driver interfaces and scene requirements moved upstream. Application support began coordinating dimming intent, zoning and commissioning questions before the fixture schedule was fixed.

Today

Global projects, local room logic

Across 36 served markets, the method stays grounded in what occupants see and do. Regional compliance context is checked against the actual product and destination rather than treated as a universal badge.

A beautiful reference image may conceal important constraints. We ask about viewing angles, ceiling systems, cleaning access, switching patterns and nighttime use before narrowing the field.

Explain the tradeoff

Higher efficacy, tighter optics and integrated components each bring benefits, but none is automatically correct. We make implications for comfort, appearance and serviceability easier to compare.
